Northeast Tactical Elastic Weapon Catch, MOLLE is designed to attach with two small sections of MOLLE webbing by weaving through the webbing and securing with a snap. We offer two sizes: small, measuring 18 inches unextended; Large, measuring 26 inches unextended. Designed to be worn on the outside of gear and equipment, the sizes are made so that depending on what is needs to go around. The small webbing pieces can be weaved through the molle of a pouch if equipped and does not have to attach directly to the vest.

For using with a primary long arm, it should be attached to the support side. It should be placed to be easily found by support hand or thumb to extend. Once extended, the muzzle should go through, once released, the weapon will be held snug against the vest or pouch.

The catch will hold the weapon to limit unwanted swing, it is not designed as supplemental retention for those time when you need to hands free. Litter carry, breaching, cuffing, searching, medical aid and other hands free work will be assisted when the rifle is not moving.

For smaller or secondary weapons (PDW or breacher shotgun) the smaller length can be used on the strong side to secure the weapon on the side or front.

The catch will give added security while kneeling.
